Here we are….twenty hours away from the opening of the polls and thirty-two hours away from them closing!
For those of you who supported me, I can't thank you enough for taking the time to get to know me and for being as encouraging, supportive and hospitable as you've been. I really appreciate all of you who have helped spread the word by talking to your friends, family, and neighbors. This has been grass-roots campaigning at its best!! Now we just have to finish what we started.
Hopefully by now you've seen how hard our campaign team is working.
The rest of the story.....
Here's an interesting tid-bit. Check out this website: http://gunnuts.net/2010/02/26/indiana-house-democrats-up-to-their-old-tricks/ It seems interesting to me that with all of the self-back-patting that has gone with HB 1065 that it would take a turn like this. I'll follow up on this once we see where it ends up.....
Flypod.com Interview
I recently had the opportunity to sit down with Gary Puckett for an interview on the flypod.com. We discussed a little about me and why I am running for State Representative and several of the issues that are important to southeastern Indiana. I've been on Gary's show a couple of times now and it it always a pleasure. If you'd like to listen to the interview Gary just did you can check it out at http://www.theflypod.com/asp/newpage.asp?RN=45922 Thanks Gary!
Too little too late??
As the election year gets started people are taking note of what's going on at the Statehouse. Check out this article pointing out how things change when the heat gets turned up.... http://frugalhoosiers.com/?p=6716
Getting off to a running start
It's been one year since we first entered the political arena. In year one we learned, grew, made some great friends, and came unbelievably close to doing what few thought was possible. Seventeen months from the 2010 election we hit the ground running, orange shirts and all.... And to answer the question I heard a lot today....We're back!
It's almost here....
